Eu New Zealand Partnership Agreement

Previously, in 2017, the EU and New Zealand concluded a Partnership Agreement containing a number of economic and trade cooperation rules. In addition, New Zealand has been a member of the WTO since 1995. eeas.europa.eu/delegations/new-zealand/1600/new-zealand-and-eu_en park aims to establish a strengthened partnership between the EU, EU Member States and New Zealand. The PARC acts as a mechanism for consolidating existing links and provides a framework for deepening and further intensifying cooperation. According to the EU`s common approach, the PARC is also a prerequisite for negotiating a free trade agreement. Maori and stakeholders will be consulted, as appropriate, on this agreement and any other relevant agreements between New Zealand and the EU resulting from the PARC.
