PE Kit – All Pupils
It is important that all children always have a full change of clothing for their games lesson. Indoor work is done in bare feet.
It would be helpful if all children could bring their PE kits into School on a MONDAY, and take them home for washing on a FRIDAY.

Navy blue plain track suit (no stripes or logos) – very cold weather only
Spare socks – trainer socks acceptable as part of PE kit in Summer term

Long Hair
Shoulder length or longer hair (boys and girls) must be tied back neatly. Children who do not have their hair tied back will be asked to do so with an elastic band.
Make-up and Hair Colour
We do not allow dyed or highlighted hair at The Chandler.
Make-up, including nail varnish, is not permitted.
Earrings
Children with pierced ears may wear one small stud earring in each earlobe (hoops or dangly earrings are not permitted). However, the earrings must be removed for sport and PE activities. For this reason, children must be able to remove their earrings themselves – if they are unable to do so, please remove the earrings before school on PE days.
Watches
Watches may be brought into School, but please ensure that they are CLEARLY MARKED and handed to the classteacher for all PE and games lessons.
Rings, necklaces and bracelets
Rings, necklaces are bracelets are not permitted in School.
However, a single charity band may be worn.
Mobile phones and other electronic equipment
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in School.
