Extended Services

We are very fortunate at The Chandler to have a very good provision of extended services. We work closely with a number of privdors to give our children a huge range of after school experiences. We also provide structured after school care via our 'Schools Ot' after school club.

We believe in offering children as many and varied activities as we can, either at lunch times or after school. In an academic year these may include musical activities (choir, recorders, orchestra and ensembles), sporting activities (football, netball, rugby, athletics, cross-country, gymnastics, cricket, tennis, basketball, rounders, yoga, judo and fencing), art and drama activities (clay, drawing and sketching) or other activities (gardening, computing, cookery, fun and easy science).

The staff give of their time voluntarily over and above their teaching commitments and offer activities in which they feel they have some expertise or interest.

Please note that some of the clubs below are provided by outside agencies and as a result are fee paying.
