We currently have the following vacancies:

 

Learning Support Assistants (LSA)  

We are looking for enthusiastic, pro-active Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with a good sense of humour and a “hands-on” approach to join our lively staff team. You will provide one-to-one support to individual children across the curriculum; support small groups of pupils; and work with children and teachers in a Classroom environment.  LSAs also carry out MidDay Supervisor (MDS) duties. Training and support will be provided.

Typical hours are from 8.30am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (total 31.67 hours/week).  LSA roles are paid on Surrey S3 pay range (£15,997 to £17,662 per annum full time equivalent).  MDS duties are paid on Surrey S1/2 pay range (£15,874 to £16,173 pa FTE).

Indicative pay for the full five day role is £12,000 pa.  Actual pay will be dependent on individual timetabled hours, and the skills and experience of the successful candidates.

Candidates looking for a part-time role are also invited to apply.  For example, candidates may be able to offer five mornings (including MDS) or five afternoons (including MDS) a week.

The successful candidates will work under the direction of the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) and Classteacher.  Further details are provided in the attached Job Descriptions.

You will be confident in Maths and English (Grade “C” GCSE or equivalent required in both), be patient and flexible, a good team player and have empathy and openness with children.

Tours of the School will be scheduled for shortlisted candidates only.
