School Events

Our Assembly Theme this term is based around The Sermon on the Mount. Jesus' wise words about how to be happy. They are known as The Beatitudes but we are calling them The BEE Attitudes and linking it all with what we can learn from the life of the humble bumble! As usual we have various other links for the children to make connections and including Colour of the Week, Bird of the Week and Olympic Value of the Week. We had Roger Black the famous athlete to launch this and later in the tem we will welcome some owls and birds of prey to let our spirits soar! This term we will contiune to get outside and enjoy learning in our fabulous grounds whatever the weather. The children will continue to use their Learning Journals to set targets and engage with their learning. They will also be getting involved in an Arts Week and of course lots of school trips to make the learning as hands on as possible so that they can  make the progress they should.

The BIG whole school event of the term will be Fun Friday on 23rd March. As usual everyone will be enjoying a fantastic day of difference and having fun learning a new skill with new friends! Please come along and help...

Our new initiative Chandler Community Challenge continues this term and the children will have every opportunity to be involved and make a difference. There will also be our Spring Walk and Easter Egg Roll and Eucharist to look forward to. Everyone is invited!
